Meet Our Chapter

Safe Families for Children – Grand Rapids, under the agency, Bethany Christian Services, started in 2008.  We are committed to serving area families in crisis by partnering with local churches, where families open their homes and lives to vulnerable children.

We started with the belief to defend the cause of the weak and the fatherless.  Since our humble beginnings, we have increased the footprint of Safe Families throughout the Unites States.  In these areas, our goals are to:

• Prevent child abuse and neglect
• Strengthen and stabilize the family
• Reduce the number of children going into foster care
